Forward Emergency Operations Center (FEOC).

The command center can act as an extension of the EOC. It is a mobile command post equipped with radio equipment, telephones, and other specialized equipment to assist in the management of a major incident. The center can operate from existing power or from its own generator.
The Emergency Management Organization can provide public education and training. They plan and hold training exercises with town departments and outside agencies. They advise the public through the media and the Emergency Alert System (EAS) about the severity of the emergency and the response and recovery under way.
