| In appreciation for all of the assistance that has been given to the Batesburg-Leesville community, the South Carolina Poultry Festival is honoring Senator Jake Knotts as our Grand Marshal for 2008. His accomplishments are numerous and he is a busy man, but he always makes time for the citizens of Batesburg-Leesville and surrounding area. | |
I am so excited to welcome all of you to the Batesburg-Leesvile Poultry Festival. It is such an honor to be the Grand Marshal of the festival this year. I am so honored to represent all of you and Batesburg-Leesville, home of one of the largest festivals in the state. We all love chicken here in Lexington County and this is a great opportunity for us to celebrate that. I am so glad all of you could join me for this wonderful event and on behalf of Batesburg-Leesville, Lexington County and South Carolina I hope you have a great time. |
