Although the partnership between the Ridge Arts Council and the school district is a significant benefit to the community, the Council's contributions and the efforts of its members is the "essential ingredient" in the cultural flavor of Batesburg-Leesville. Operating with very conservative resources, the Ridge Arts Council has managed to bring to our community, year after year, a variety of outstanding theater, musical stage, dance, and orchestral concerts, with a wide range of appeal and extraordinary depth of talent. The Ridge Arts Council is currently presenting The Fourth Saturday Bluegrass Series at the historic Haynes Auditorium. If you need more information, contact Lewis at (803) 685-5675.
