BLPD to Host CWP Class

The Batesburg-Leesville Police Department will be hosting a Concealed Weapon Permit Class.

The Batesburg-Leesville Police Department will be hosting a Concealed Weapon Permit Class in March. The classroom portion will take place on Thursday, March 22nd, 2018, beginning at 6:30 PM at the Batesburg-Leesville Police Department. The range qualification time for the class will take place on Saturday, March 24th, at a specific time to be determined on March 22nd.

The cost of the course will be $50.00 per applicant. Applicants are required to register and pay all class associated fees at the Batesburg-Leesville Police Department before March 22nd. The applicant will then receive an application packet.

 Applicants should bring at least 50 rounds of ammunition and an appropriate secure holster for their range qualification. Targets, hearing protection and eye protection will be provided. This course is designed to provide the applicant with the training and materials needed to complete the application process with SLED. The cost associated with applying for the Concealed Weapons Permit through SLED is a separate process and fee.
