The Batesburg-Leesville Town Council voted 7-1 at the February 14, 2022 council meeting to enter into a contract with Joint Municipal Water and Sewer Commission on a long term contract that will secure safe, reliable water to the town's water customers for decades to come.  Council also voted to hire Hazen and Sawyer to beginning preliminary engineering and design work along with surveying.  To learn more please read the press release regarding this historic agreement.  Joint Press Release
