WATER SERVICE UPDATES - September 8, 2021

1:30 pm 9/9/21 - The Boil Water Notice has been lifted. All biological samples came back clear related to yesterday's water main break. 

10:30 am 9/9/21 - Boil Water Notice in affect until at least 1:30 when samples will be read.  

7:00 pm Water service is 100% and the town's three water tanks are nearly full and all in their normal operating range.  Boil Water Notice remains in affect until Thursday morning when biological samples confirm it is safe.

1:00 pm Water service has been fully restored and water pressure is nearly normal.  A reminder of the 24 hour Boil Water Notice which is in affect until Thursday morning when biological samples confirm it is safe..

9:30 am: Repairs were completed on the water main break.  The water plant has now released the water from the plant into the system and services are being restored.  It is expected that water pressure should be normal by midday today, September 8th.

BOIL WATER NOTICE LIFTED

A Boil Water Notice was issued on September 8th due to a 10" water main break near the Granite Street water tank overnight (September 7-8, 2021).  As of 1:30 pm on September 9th this Boil Water Notice has been lifted as all biological samples came back clear.
