The Uniform Patrol Division of the Batesburg-Leesville Police Department is the “backbone” component of the agency. This division is comprised of four shifts of uniformed police officers who are responsible for responding to general calls for service while actively patrolling the neighborhoods and roadways within our community. Each of the four patrol shifts work a 12-hour rotating schedule to ensure continual law enforcement service coverage for the Town of Batesburg-Leesville on a 24 hours per day and 7 days per week basis. Police Officers for each patrol shift are led by a patrol supervisor, who is additionally assisted by a member of the agency’s administrative staff during and after normal business hours, as needed.
